Who We Are
Emily Wade
Co-founder of Epiphany Family Enterprises, looking to buy and build a business with my husband to operate for the long-haul.
Prior to Epiphany, I learned on the job at:
Boston Consulting Group as a management consultant specializing in operations for aerospace and defense and industrial goods
Fluor Corporation, a leading engineering, procurement, construction firm as a field engineer, working boots-on-the-ground on Vogtle Nuclear Power Plant and the new Tappan Zee Bridge, among other infrastructure projects with crews of ironworkers in English and Spanish
Purple Glaze, a paint-your-own pottery studio in Dallas as supervisor, learning the ins and outs of small business as my first job in high school
I have an MBA from Harvard University and a B.S. from the University of Notre Dame in Civil Engineering.
I am a private pilot and avid runner, though last year was my first and definitively last marathon. Nowadays, I am focused on homemaking in my spare time and building to-do lists for my husband with various projects around the house.
I am a native Texan, and, as Thayer and I build our life together, we are laser-focused on setting up the life that we want for our children.
Thayer Wade
Co-founder of Epiphany Family Enterprises, looking to buy and build a business with my wife to operate for the long-haul.
Prior to Epiphany, I built models and a wealth of experience at:
Vestria Capital, a finance startup aiming to acquire and grow wealth management firms, working hand-in-hand with CEO and founding partners to source and evaluate deals, interface with capital providers, and run day-to-day functions of the company
Morgan Stanley, where my team built out a new division in the wealth management segment by acquiring founder-operated registered investment advisors
Maximus, a government contractor with the mission of “helping government serve the people,” where I cut my teeth on business development for robotics process automation and AI-based tools
I have a B.A. from Harvard University in Electrical Engineering, cum laude.
I spend my free time jamming on the piano and working with my hands on various creative projects (including household electrical work, tinkering on my truck, and building a chicken coop so that we can have fresh eggs in the spring). In the winter, you can find me back up in the Northeast on the ski slopes. I am also a political junkie and will discuss religion and politics with anyone up for a rollicking conversation.
Originally from Boston, I am thrilled to embark on this next phase of my life with my family.
